Connie was born in Bellingham, Washington June 11, 1943 to the parents of William (Bill) and Leota Moore. They lived in Washington for 7 years then moved to Harlan, Oregon in 1951. Connie attended school and graduated from the eighth grade at Harlan. The family then moved to Blodgett, Oregon in 1959. She attended Philomath High school where she graduated in 1962. She married Wayne Weaver, September 1, 1962 and they settled in Blodgett. Connie worked for the Philomath School district as a teacher’s aide at the Blodgett Elementary School for 28 years. They continued to live and raise their family in Blodgett until they moved to Summit, Oregon on the Weaver Ranch in 2007.
Connie is survived by her husband, Wayne of 53 years and their 3 children: Duane Weaver (Lisa) of Stanwood, WA, Addie Faxon (Glenn) of Toledo, OR, and Lisa Ward (Jack) of Ontario, OR. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Katelyn Fekkes (Weaver) and husband Tobin, Lindsey Weaver, Olivia Weaver, Rachel Swindon (Faxon) and husband Brandon, Neil Faxon, Kurt Faxon, Byron Ward and Steven Ward. She is also survived by her three brothers: Bill Moore, Al Moore (Billie Jeane) and Dennis Moore (Pam).
Connie was a member of the Blodgett Community Church and former member of the Blodgett-Summit Community Club. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to these organizations which were an important part of Connie’s life.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 2 pm, October 10th at the Blodgett Community Church.
