Genevieve Arlene Dollowitch

Genevieve Arlene Dollowitch, 97, passed away Wednesday morning February 8, 2017 at Sea Aire Care Center, Yachats, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Portland October 10, 1919 and married her husband George (deceased) on her birthday in 1937. She managed her husband’s produce business (1946 to 1974). They owned and managed Waldport Grocery between 1959 to 1962. After his death she worked in retail for several years. In her retirement she was a member of the Spanish Dance group at Marylhurst College. She has been a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Waldport.
Surviving are her children: Patricia Foradori, Barbara Dollowitch, George Dollowitch, and Elaine Correia Dollowitch; grandchildren: Peter Foradori, Jr., Heather Correia and Kelly Correia; and two great grandchildren: Emma and Claire Foradori; and her sister Betty Reisback.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Waldport, OR, Saturday February 18, 2017 at 10 am.
