Gladys Virginia Jacobson

Gladys Jacobson was born on May 6th, 1927 to Walter and Elvira Johnson in Portland, Oregon. She married Glen Jacobson on January 7th, 1946 in Portland, Oregon. Together they had three children; Anna Randall, Betty Dipboxe, and Walter Jacobson. During World War Two she was in the Civil Air Patrol, and then became a homemaker. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to knit and crochet. On August 29th, 2016 at age 89, Gladys passed away.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Elvira, her husband Glen, and her daughter Anna. 

She is survived by her son Walter, her daughter Betty, 4 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at Bateman Funeral Home in Newport, Oregon on September 7th, 2016 at 10-12 PM. There will be a graveside following the viewing, at 1 PM at Eddyville Cemetery.
