Nora Arlene Tompkins

Nora Tompkins, age 62, passed away peacefully with her twin sister by her side at her home in Roselodge, Oregon on May 30th, 2015 from cancer. Nora was born in McMinville, Oregon on October 10th, 1952 to Carl Jkela and Laura "Pearl" Jokela. Nora has lived in the Roselodge/Otis area her entire life. Nora has managed Pronto Pup for the last 10 years. Nora worked as a waitress at the Hilltop Restaurant and Captain John's for years. Nora married Dan Tompkins on April 18th, 1976 in Carson City, Nevada. Her hobbies included, Pronto Pup which was her passion, Bingo, and playing Slot Machines.

Nora is survived by her husband of 39 years, daughter Angie (Tim) Ware of Lincoln City, sons Dan Jr (Alison) Tompkins of Otis, Derrick (Mariah) Tompkins of Otis, grandchildren Chris Knudson, Kendra Knudson and Angel Benham, siblings, her twin sister Norma (Mick) Thompson, Eugene (Dorothy) Kay, Jack Kay, Leonard (Kelly) Kay, Joyce (Rod) Kay, Wynonna (Ron) Watson, numerous nieces and nephew and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl Jokela and Pearl Jokela Montgomery, brother Erwin Kay and sister Evelyn Hall.

A grave side service will be held on June 20th, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Pacific View Memorial on East Devils Lake Road, a Celebration of Life will follow after the service.
