Petty Officer 2nd Class Machinist’s Mate for U.S.S. Frontier, Donald Carrell Voss, born on December 23, 1940 in Kennett Missouri, passed away peacefully with his wife and loving family members by his side on May 11th, 2019 at 5:00pm in Newport, Oregon.

Proceeded in death by his father, John Louis Voss; mother Annie Edna Blackmon; his brothers and sisters; along with his only daughter Alena Michelle Voss.

Survived by his wife of 34 loving years, Debra Jane Voss; his brother Tom Voss; his five sons: Don Stevens, Timothy Edward Deck, Martin Charles Deck, Donald Carrell Voss 2nd, and Thomas Ray Deck; along with his eight grandchildren: Nick Voss, Jake, Ayden, Olivia, Tasha, Chris, Cortney, and Noah.

Donald Carrell Voss was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  His passions in life were golf and his desire to fly his airplane.  He will always be remembered as a hard working, compassionate, loving, and kind man.
