                                George Michael Boyeas

George died at his home in Waldport, OR at age 63.  He was born in Portland.  In 1973 he graduated from Hudson's Bay high school in Vancouver, WA.  From 1973-1979 he served in the US Navy.  He raised his 3 daughters, Melissa, Megan & Lindsey in Tualatin, with his first wife, Kathy.  In 2005, he moved to Waldport and retired there in 2015 with his present wife, Jan.

George took pride in his career as a Field Service Engineer for Kodak, J&J, Cymer and Abbott Diagnostics.  His passions were driving his MX5 and being on, or near the ocean.  He loved to cook, read, travel, garden and take long walks with his wife.  He also enjoyed chatting with beloved family members and is remembered for being a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Dahl; daughters Melissa Tooley, Megan Boyeas & Lindsey Boyeas; mother Patricia Cranford [nee Runyon]; stepfather Gary Cranford; sister Lorrie [Steve] Senecal; granddaughter Maci Tooley, a niece & nephew and several aunts & cousins.

He is predeceased by his father, George Harold Boyeas and brother, Michael Grant Boyeas.

A service will be held Nov.17th at 1pm at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.  Reception to follow at Hopworks Urban Brewery from 2-4pm.  Kindly RSVP to the website the family has set up with info on the service, reception and suggestions for charitable donations in George's honor. www.georgeboyeasmemorial.com
