Shirley Ann Billman August 15, 1934 - July 11, 2019

Shirley was born on August 15, 1934 and passed away on July 11, 2019. Shirley grew up with parents Marion and Ruth Steen and four brothers in Dayville, Oregon.

After high school, she married and moved to Idaho where she raised her family. In later years, Shirley worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a Budget Technologist and it was a job she thoroughly loved. During this time, Shirley also met and married the love of her life, Vernon Billman, and together they enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; dancing, picnics and car rides. Shirley had many, many talents. She was especially accomplished in quilting, painting and crocheting.

Shirley always looked forward to game days and pot lucks with her dear friends at Driftwood Village. Shirley also loved spending time with her best friend, Rose Meadows. Shirley’s kindness and generous heart will be missed.

Shirley is survived by two brothers, Mont and Buck Steen, daughter Sue Burr (Grant), sons James Gleixner (Kelley) and William Gleixner (Sandie). Shirley was grandmother to Morgan and Lacey Burr; John, James, Michael and Elizabeth Gleixner and Jaime, Barrett, Elizabeth and Annaliese Gleixner. She also had four great grandchildren; Hayden, Neelie, Kaylarose and Caleb. Per Shirley’s wishes, there will be no funeral.

Her ashes will be united with Vernon’s in a family ceremony at a later date.
