Bill Parrson

Bill Parrson was born on June 14th, 1950 in Salina, Kansas to Jack and Vanessa. Bill Parrson, member of Yaquina Bay Baptist Church and the Newport Elks Lodge #2015, passed from this earthly pilgrimage due to heart complications at Good Samaritan Regional Hospital, but to be greeted in heaven on Thursday, February 18.
    He was a gentle, humble, and friendly soul to all he met.  He moved from Kansas to Newport in 1997 working as manager for Payless Shoe Source, then as an accountant for Shilo Inns and the Elks Lodge.  A celebration of his life will be held by his church family at Yaquina Bay Baptist Church, 45 SE Moore Road on Saturday, March 6 at 3 PM.
