Kathleen Louise (Rasmussen) Sanford

Kathleen Louise (Rasmussen) Sanford, 69, of Waldport, Oregon passed away on June 13, 2020. She passed away peacefully, at home, with family. Kathleen was born in Coos Bay, Oregon but the family later moved to Toledo, Oregon where she graduated from Toledo High School in 1969. She was a career bartender and worked in many establishments around Toledo and Newport. She was married to Robin Ashley from 1971-1973 and had one daughter, Tamara. On March 17, 1996 she married Kenny Sanford and gained one step-daughter, Amy. They spent 18 lovely years together prior to his passing in 2014. Kathleen is survived by children, Tamara (Aaron) Donathan of Siletz and Amy (Daniel) Schroeder of Sublimity; grandchildren: Tabietha, Tyrie, Jaycub and Cameron; great-grandchildren: Keyonna, Antwoine, Tyrie, Remedeigh and Jhmara; and siblings Donita, Anita, Charles, Ivan, Ferman, Sharon, Darrell, Tamara, JD and Darla. She was preceded in death by husband, Kenny Sanford, parents Ivan and Donna Rasmussen and great-grandchild Mista. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathleen’s name to Grace Wins Haven at 437 NE 1st, Newport OR 97365.
