Leona Phillips was born in Newport, Oregon to Leonard and Florence on October 17th, 1935. After completing high school, Leona became a homemaker. She was married to John Junior, and together they lived in Toledo, Oregon. Leona and John Junior started a family, including their granddaughter Sarah. On August 11th, 2017 Leona passed away at the age of 81 years old.
