Mary R Cox

Mary Rowena Cox was born August 24, 1933 in Spokane, Washington to Rowena Cox and Paul Cox. As a young lady, Mary was a skilled and recognized horsewoman in the northwest. She raised and trained the love of her life, her horse Image. Together they won many trophies over many years. Mary was as good with children as she was horses and worked as a nanny. 

Later in life after moving to Oregon, she showed off her kitchen skills cooking at Gracies Sea Hag. Younger family members remember Mary always having a cookie jar full of goodies. She was very creative and loved crafting. One of her favorite things to do was hit up thrift stores and then creating earrings of the treasures that she found. Mary could deck the halls like no other as Christmas was her favorite!

Mary's parents and four siblings preceded her in passing. Mary's life partner, Lee, is also waiting for her on the other side. 

Mary is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great great nieces, a great great nephew, and great, great, great nephews! She is also survived by her guardian angels and neighbors, Sandie and Mary. She loved them so much. Our family appreciates their great care and love of our Aunt more than words can express. 

Our family will miss our aunt and her always smiling face and great laugh. Blessed Be, Aunt Mary. You are loved.
