Patricia D Spangle

Lincoln City, OR resident, Patricia Dale Spangle, 88 passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Hillside Place Assisted Living in Lincoln City, OR.

Patricia was born December 10, 1936 to Homer and Ethel (Richards) Spangle in Seattle, WA where she grew up and attended high school. She was the great-granddaughter of W. Spangle who founded Spangle, WA. Patricia had three children, Tim Stansbury, Lisa Ross-Stansbury and Michelle Stansbury. She was a member of the Christian Church in West Seattle and the Monroe Community Chapel where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Patricia had also volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse in Seattle. She enjoyed traveling and had been to Israel, Egypt, Alaska, Paris in France, Hawaii and St. Thomas. Patricia had moved to Grants Pass, OR in 2005 and had also resided in Newport, OR.

“Pat loved her grandkids dearly and she was able to meet her great-great grandson before she passed. She also loved her dachshund's. Pat was a great woman of faith with an aptitude for a quick wit,” wrote the family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrold Stansbury; and daughter, Michelle Renee’. She is survived by her son, Tim Stansbury of Trabuco Canyon, CA; daughter, Lisa Stansbury-Ross of McMinnville, OR; grandsons, Daniel Goodwin of Gig Harbor, WA, Mykel Blodgett, Jessy and Lance Ross all of Newport, OR, Quest Renee’ Vanlohuizen of Grants Pass, OR and Kenai Renee’ of Bellingham, WA; great-grandson, Christian Alex Goodwin of Bothel, WA; great-granddaughters, Auri Noel Fitting-Blodgett  of Newport, OR and Aliyah Vanlohuizen of Grants Pass, OR; and great-great grandson Silas Axel of Newport, OR.

Patricia will be laid to rest with a private family graveside at the Alder Grove Cemetery in Waldport, OR.
