Ronald L Batchelder, Sr  3/6/1946 - 6/14/2020 
 

Ronald Batchelder, Sr passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 peacefully at his son’s home under hospice care. He will be deeply missed by all.

As a young man, he worked for Global Marine on the oil rigs, then at A M Lewis, where he started driving a semi truck. Eventually, he became an owner operator working for Riss and then Conti Trucking.

He had away of making people laugh.  He had a love for CB Radio, where he was known as L. A. Mud Flap.  When he retired, he and his wife traveled around and fell in love with Waldport, where they finally settled.  He loved camping, fishing and going out on his boat.  As a young man, he loved dirt bike riding and going to car races.

He leaves behind his children Tammie Fader, husband Rob and two grandchildren;  Bill Batchelder; Shawna Garrett, husband Mike, three grandchildren and one great grandchild; Mike McCarn, wife Kimber and three grandchildren; Ronnie Batchelder Jr, wife Linda; Nick Batchelder and one grandchild; his brother Richard Batchelder and his family.
