I grew up having long talks, playing cards, traveling, learning about history and spending time on cape cod with my grandmother. She was supportive and an excellent friend. I didn’t go to her funeral (I wasn’t able to handle saying goodbye at that time) . I have many fond memories of her and I am very thankful that she was part of my life.

Aunt Carol I can't in words say how much I love you and how much I am gonna miss you. I am so happy that we have reconnected after so many years of being apart. WISH I had more time with you but have enjoyed the time we did have together. I have never forgotten you and never will. You will always and forever have a very special place in my heart. I love you so much.

My first memories of you mom , are of us you , Renae ,me and Elaine and our dog camping hiking on the Oregon coast . My recollection is cold damp wet rained out and pretty darn miserable . Bit not you ! You would deep sea fish , go crabbing , go hiking and dig for arrow heads , balance on steep rocks that now have big huge fences . Cook amazing meals at the camp fire . But I must say it was a relief when Jeff came Along and must have noticed our cold rainy tent and we stayed in fun cottages or the Adobe !
My second favoriate memories of you are teaching us about the forest , trees, and the magical power of nature , so when I miss you , I will go to cape perpetuia , to the big tree , and think of you . I love you always

Carolyn enjoyed the coasts, both of them We all enjoyed visiting her in her lovely homes in Portland, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, New Hampshire and D.C. She had a lot of fun wherever she went with Jeff. She appreciated beauty and was an antiques dealer at one time. Her first, and only other job was as decorator for a couple of department stores in Eugene.
She grew up in Oregon and was preceded in death by her infant sister Judith, and her sister Linda, who is survived by Julie Wright and David (Maureen) Wright, Portland; her sister Patty (Clif) Johnson, Seattle; and her brother Dave (Kris) Bowles, of Helena Montana.
Carolyn dearly loved and was proud of her three daughters: Renae (Randy) Job of Oregon, and her three children, Jason (Katy), Ryan (Desserae) Pollack, and Stacy Job; Cheryl Pineau (Henry), of New Hampshire, and her two sons Eric (Lydia) Kerr, and Jackson (Jessika) Bregler; and her daughter Elaine (Claude) Hungerford, of Texas, and their two daughters, Jessica (Tom) Camacho and Jennifer Hungerford.

Carolyn gave a lot of gits of wisdom freely to people. Her last words to me were kind and insightful . These expressions of thoughts of Carols have given me a strong since of who I truly am and freedom from learned emotional pain . I wish I could have listened to her more deeply and with a third ear over the years. I will miss Carols love she had for me and her spiritual gifts. Carol shared her spiritual gifts with me and my relationship with God grew into one of knowing and not doubting. the presence of a greater power in the universe. Carol is now joined with that power. I will miss you Carolyn, Love you your brother David.
