I just wanted to say my heart goes out to all of you in losing such an incredible husband, father and friend. I apologize for my very delayed response. I had a wonderful memory recently of being in journalism with Sam and DJ in high school and I wanted to see how they were doing, which led me here. I wasn't able to meet Mr. Johnson, but having friendship with such kind, caring, humorous and compassionate individuals like Sam and DJ, is a reflection of their wonderful parents. I am thinking of you all today and wishing you comfort and peace.

I only knew Dan for a brief period of time - a little golf, a little poker, and a lot of meaningful conversation. Our friendship was powerful. He changed me and I changed him. I wish I had more time with him.
