When I was in Jr. High, I worked for Jack and my Uncle Kenneth Laxton on weekends moving sheep around from field to field. I will never forget on a rainy weekend Jack and I were out in the middle of a huge field rounding up sheep. ( I never called him Jack, it was always Mr. LaFranchise to me). We came upon a swollen ditch of water we had to cross. There was no way I could get across without getting wet up to my waist, so Jack picked me up and with my arms around his neck and hanging on to his back, we crossed the ditch. Jack got soaked to his waist but I stayed dry........I will never forget............funny how some little things in your life just stick with you. Thank you Jack for keeping me dry.

What a void has been left on all of us here on earth.
Jack was such a gentleman and never met anyone that he didn't consider a friend. His stories were and still are so entertaining and funny they made me laugh so much I would have tears in my eyes and my jaw would hurt.
We will miss you Jack! I know you are playing pinnacle with God and the angels every day.

I know what you are going through, I went through this situation with my own husband 7 months ago. We want so much for them to live on for us, but there comes a time when we must let them go. My heart goes out to you and your family, Janine.
